چکیده
Halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) with immobilized gold (Au) and silver (Ag) nanoparticles (NPs) belong to a class of nanocomposite materials whose physical properties applications depend on the geometry arrangements plasmonic HNT’ surfaces. We explore HNTs:(Au, Ag)-NPs as potential nano-templates for surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). The structure nanocomposites based HNTs Au- Ag-NPs are studied by means transmission electron microscopy optical spectroscopy. extinction spectra aqueous suspensions spatial distributions electric fields simulated, simulation results demonstrate corresponding localized resonances numerous “hot spots” field nearby those NPs. In vitro experiments reveal an enhancement protein SERS in fibroblast cells added HNTs:Ag-NPs. observed activity NPs promising their biosensorics biophotonics.

Green synthesis of Au nanoparticles immobilized on halloysite nanotubes for surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrates.
A facile and green route was introduced to synthesize Au nanoparticles immobilized on halloysite nanotubes (AuNPs/HNTs) used for surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrates. The naturally occurring HNTs were firstly functionalized with a large amount of -NH(2) groups by N-(β-aminoethyl)-γ-aminopropyl trimethoxysilane (AEAPTES), which possesses one lone electron pair and will "anchor" Au ions t...

HNTs have high m...
متن کاملPlasmonic Nanoparticles for Optofluidic Applications
This thesis discusses the application of colloidal particles to optofluidic systems. Colloidal particles can be added as a “dopant” to the liquids in these devices to provide functionality that cannot be obtained with homogenous fluids. We examine electrooptic effects in liquid suspensions asymmetric metallic nanoparticles. The theoretical optical properties of gold nanorods and noble metal nan...

A novel development on halloysite-polyvinyl alcohol (HNTs-PVA) nanocomposites has been conducted using malonic acid (MA) by crosslinking PVA and HNTs. PVA-MA crosslinking produces smooth surfaces, which play an important role in enhancing the properties of HNTs-PVA nanocomposite. The crystallographic structures of crosslinked HNTs-PVA show almost no change as depicted by the X-ray diffraction (...
متن کاملMultimodal Magnetic-Plasmonic Nanoparticles for Biomedical Applications
Magnetic plasmonic nanomaterials are of great interest in the field of biomedicine due to their vast number of potential applications, for example, in molecular imaging, photothermal therapy, magnetic hyperthermia and as drug delivery vehicles. The multimodal nature of these nanoparticles means that they are potentially ideal theranostic agents—i.e., they can be used both as therapeutic and dia...
